Our approach is unique—we are an interior design firm integrated within an architectural studio. Together, we share a passion for meticulous detail, exceptional quality, and exquisite craftsmanship.

Central to our creative process, collaborations with skilled artisans and craftspeople enable us to explore new materials and fabrication techniques, and to create work that is both timeless and innovative. Notable projects include 140 Jane Street, 125 Perry Street, and 90 Morton Street.

Ashe Leandro is a New York City-based architecture and interior design practice working on residential and commercial projects across the globe. The firm is recognized for a signature aesthetic of relaxed, contemporary luxury: spaces that are rich in texture, grounded in natural materials, and designed with a timeless sensibility that resists trend.

The two principals bring complementary backgrounds to every project. Ariel Ashe, a New Mexico native, trained in set design and honed her craft working for Saturday Night Live before transitioning into interiors. Reinaldo Leandro was born in Venezuela and earned his Master's in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University, bringing a perspective shaped by tropical modernism and Latin American design culture. Together, they approach each project with a fully integrated architectural and interior vision, from structural conception through the finest material and furnishing decisions.

Ashe Leandro has been named to Architectural Digest's AD100 list in both the United States and France, and their work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and numerous other leading design publications. Their portfolio includes high-profile residential projects for clients including Seth Meyers, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jake Gyllenhaal, Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts, and Rashid Johnson. In 2024, the firm released their debut monograph, "Ashe Leandro: Architecture + Interiors," published by Rizzoli. Notable projects include 443 Greenwich Avenue and 67 Vestry Street.

Joseph Dirand is one of the most celebrated architects and interior designers working today, known for a precise, minimalist vocabulary that transforms space through light, material, and an uncompromising attention to detail. A graduate of the Paris-Belleville architecture school, Dirand opened his own firm immediately upon graduation, driven by an ambition to express a singular creative vision from the very start. His design sensibility draws on the masters he admires most: Le Corbusier's commitment, John Pawson's minimalism, Peter Zumthor's timelessness, and Carlo Scarpa's precision.

Dirand has built a body of work that spans luxury private residences, landmark hotels and restaurants, and the interiors of the world's most prestigious fashion houses, earning him a reputation that is as celebrated in Europe as it is internationally. Notable projects include Surf Club Miami.
